Merry Monday by Parris

Ezekiel 48:35

“It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there”

According to some historians, the temple was some thirty two thousand miles wide; or it is mystically and spiritually the church of Christ; it will be spread all over the world; the world will become the church; the kingdoms of it will become Christ’s. Gill said, “the little stone will become a great mountain, and fill the whole earth; the kingdom and interest of Christ, which is his church, will be from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth; even from the rising of the sun to the setting of the same.”

Christ becomes our righteousness and like Jerusalem, we become Hephzibah and Beulah. (A city not forsaken) It is His gracious presence that never leaves us. This isn’t some long forgotten voice, or distant memory but He is everyday abiding in us and through us. We are all endowed with all spiritual blessings and my Heavenly Father knows what I have need of. Each and every one of us are being built up as a spiritual house! We live in communion with Christ himself and are part of an amazing community of believers. Jehovah-shammah is amongst us. We can partake of the glories of His person and the riches of His grace. He provides a rich cornucopia of his Shekinah presence! Can you meditate with me on these great and precious promises? He has gone before us and is overseeing our lives according to His plans. Gill goes on to say; “Jehovah will display his glorious perfections; his power in the preservation of his saints; his wisdom in the guidance and direction of them; his truth and faithfulness in the performance of promises to them; his purity and holiness in the sanctification of them; his love, grace, and mercy, in the large discoveries made unto them; in short, he will appear all glorious to them, and will be the glory in the midst of them, Psalm 46:5.”
“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.” {Revelation 21:2-3; Revelation 21:22-23}

THE LORD IS THERE!
