I came to Mary’s Song in 2018 after being released from prison and desperate for change. Before going to prison, I had fallen to the floor and cried out to God and asked, if He was real, to save me and get me out of that situation. Within hours the house I was staying at was raided. I came straight to Mary’s Song and I have never been the same.

Mary’s Song has enabled me to meet the Lord and allow Him to heal me from many traumas I faced in life. At 12, I was exploited by a close family member, which led to me being kidnapped and forced into human trafficking. At 15, I was placed in state custody until I turned 18. I suffered severe medical issues as a result of my lifestyle and neglecting my health, as well as, a severe brain injury which led me to being comatose for nearly three months after which I had to relearn all basic motor functions. I was also homeless for ten years.

Working at Mary’s Song has truly been my Cinderella story. The Lord healed me of deep emotional wounds with His love and gave me a brand-new life. Now I have the opportunity to pour into other women the same love that changed me forever.
